Where we ship from

All orders ship from a warehouse in the United States.

We currently ship within the United States only.

Processing time

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day.

Delivery time

Standard delivery is 5–10 business days from dispatch. Most orders arrive sooner.

Shipping cost

Free shipping on orders over $70. Orders under $70 are charged a flat shipping rate, shown at checkout before you pay.

Tracking

You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. If you haven't received one within 3 business days of ordering, email hello@alturawear.co.

Delays

Carrier delays occasionally happen and are outside our control. If your order hasn't arrived within 15 business days of dispatch, email us and we'll either replace it or refund you.

Lost or stolen packages

If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your order, check with neighbours and your building first, then email us within 7 days. We'll work with the carrier and make it right.

Incorrect addresses

We ship to the address entered at checkout. If it's wrong, email us within 12 hours and we'll try to correct it before dispatch. Once shipped, we can't reroute.

Most compression tanks are one layer of stretchy fabric. Here's what the difference costs you — and what it buys.

Double-layer front panel

Two bonded layers across the stomach instead of one stretched thin. Compression that holds rather than just squeezes.

Horizontal support band

Spreads pressure across the midsection instead of concentrating it in one ring. No sausage effect.

Shoulder pull-back

The upper panel draws your shoulders back slightly, so you stand straighter without thinking about it.

Bonded hem

Most compression tanks roll up into a band under your chest by lunchtime. This one stays where you put it.

Questions men actually ask

Will it show under a white shirt?

Black is the safest choice under white — it sounds backwards, but a dark base layer reads as shadow rather than an outline. Under mid and dark colours, any of the three work.

Is it hot in summer?

It replaces the undershirt you'd already be wearing, so it's one layer rather than two. The ice-silk knit is built to move moisture rather than trap it.

Will it roll up at the waist?

The hem is bonded flat specifically to stop that. Rolling is the most common complaint about cheap compression tanks and it's the main reason we picked this build.

What size should I order?

We label by US sizing — if you wear a large in a normal t-shirt, you're a large here. Use the size chart on this page, and go by your waist measurement if you're between two sizes. Size up for all-day comfort, size down for maximum hold.

Can I work out in it?

You can, but it isn't designed for it. This is a base layer for regular clothes rather than performance gear.

How do I wash it?

Cold wash, hang dry. It'll hold its compression far longer than a machine-dried one.

What if it doesn't fit?

Email us within 45 days and we'll refund you in full. You won't need to ship anything back — returning a worn garment costs more than it's worth to everyone involved.

Where does it ship from and how long does it take?

A US warehouse. Delivery is typically within a week of ordering, and you'll get tracking as soon as it leaves.
